Niroj Bhandari

Niroj is a young and aspiring multidisciplinary problem solver. His major focus has been on health, education and technology. He has actively been part of several policy discussions and has co-founded few profit and non-profit organizations. Currently a medical student he has authored a number of scientific papers and reports. He is a growing leader always looking for ways to enhance his learning abilities and looks for inspiration and beauty in seemingly trivial things. He believes in combining different forms of human knowledge to solve wide range of problems. Peaceful most of the time he loves to get involved in art and music whenever he can. He also does competitive powerlifting and long distance running.


Nura Basnet

Co-Director, Gender and Diversity


Nura has been working towards providing equality and dignity to freed but still vulnerable Kamalari women and girls through education for the past 10 years. She accidentally found her passion while attending lectures in her college. She was woken up with the thought that she doesn’t know her own country well at all, and that there can be so much more done. Since then, she has volunteered and provided various workshops and training to the youth, helping them bring the best, primarily in Banke district. She has a Masters degree in Rural Development. She is an alumna of Hive Global Leaders Program, and has served as a group leader for the Hive GLP in India, September 2019.


Pratik Chhetri

Founder


Pratik is a global health policy enthusiast– a scientist, an entrepreneur and an unapologetic global justice fighter. Originally from Nepal, Pratik has worked with leaders from over two dozen countries, primarily on health justice and policy interventions. He is the Founder/ Director of Authentic Leadership Institute Nepal (ALIN) that focuses on research and policy interventions to mitigate health and economic disparities of marginalized communities in Nepal, and around the world. He has received several awards and recognition including recognition as ‘Extraordinary Ability’ individual in global health and biomedical research by the US Immigration Services in 2015. He has been an invited speaker to events and conferences in Brazil, South Africa, Switzerland, India, Nepal, and the US, including keynote speaker in Under30Changemakers Global Summit in 2015. Pratik has a Master of Public Health degree from University of California- Berkeley, and a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from Central Michigan University. Pratik also serves as Director of the Accelerator Ventures in India, and as Senior Advisor for Growth and Leadership at the BP Eye Foundation in Nepal.
